Love it or hate it, this Belgium Blonde contains loads of chilli’s!
The basis of this beer is a Belgium blonde with a Schelde yeast giving it a slightly silty flavour. The name of the beer derives from the river Schelde, and is also the name of the yeast coming from the same region. Adding an ‘n’ it makes the word schelden, the Dutch word for swearing, and you might start swearing when the explosion of chilli’s is too hot for you.
Beside the Swearing Blonde we also made a beer named Madam Janet, using Surinam Madame Jeanette chilli’s. If produced for the market the Swearing Blonde will likely become a serie of chilli beers, using different chilli’s for each brew.
You’d better drink this beer ice cold to not be overheated!
